I hope you don’t find it weird that I’ve sent you a message. I wanted to thank you for believing in me. I recently did my SVQ and one of the modules was about how I ended up working in the care sector and I could only think of one real answer, you.

I remember you being the only support worker I had that believed in me and pushed me to be my best self, reminding me while I had been dealt sh** cards it didn’t mean I had to have a sh** life.

I wanted to let you know that your support and advice has truly stuck with me throughout teenage life into adult hood and I don’t believe I would be sitting here a qualified support worker, if I had not had you pushing me and supporting me.
